Meet Osaru
Osaru is an experienced business leader, consultant, and coach who has spent over two decades working with organizations and their leaders. Her specialty lies in optimizing personal performance by focusing on how our thinking influences our decisions and actions.
She understands that our conditioned thinking often limits our perspective, and she works to offer alternative options that can lead to greater insight and success.
Currently serving as a personal advisor and coach for entrepreneurial leaders, Osaru founded Osaru Anyumba Coaching (OAC) after an exhaustive search for the right coach during a critical inflection point. OAC is dedicated to supporting the individuals who lead and bear the responsibility of decision-making and vision advancement. Her coaching is informed by her extensive leadership and management experience, entrepreneurial journey, role as a wife and mother, and identity as a black woman - all of which provide her with unique access to experiences and perspectives that are invaluable to her clients.
Clients appreciate Osaru's thought-provoking questions that help them break through long-held beliefs about their roles, expectations, and possibilities. Working with Osaru has led clients to paths of thinking that were not previously available within the framework of their previous mindset.
My why - After successfully starting my first business, I realized that it did not align with my long-term aspirations. Despite what appeared to be a promising opportunity, I felt trapped by my current obligations and previous investments. I felt stuck and unsure of how to move forward. I was frustrated because I typically helped others with similar problems, but I couldn't solve my own.
I wanted to talk to someone. I wanted an honest and objective sounding board.
Someone I could trust with my concerns, fears, and big ambitions.
Someone who was mature enough to understand the responsibilities I was contending with, someone experienced enough to offer thoughtful and helpful perspectives, skilled enough to pinpoint blind spots, and bold enough to say what needed to be said.
My solution - Fortunately, I found a professional coach who became my listening partner. With their help, I received dedicated time and space to unpack my concerns. Through our collaborative relationship, I found a way forward.
